Job Description:

- Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio, and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales

- Define and execute strategies to aggressively grow the HealthConnect business focusing on revenue, profitability management and establishment of client relationships. Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory

- Sales negotiation and deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users of the product, but also department heads and CXO level personnel

- Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each account, including multiple levels within the customer's organization including product managers, HEOR staff, Medical Affairs, compliance, marketing analytics teams.

- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive product

- Achieve annual and quarterly achievement of multiple order and revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage

- Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs

- Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements

- Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales

- Regularly support, engage and facilitate any teams necessary to support the customer relationship and across business units (when applicable) to provide cross business unit support

- Utilize strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communications into simple messages Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience to include a minimum of 2 or more years sales experience selling data utilizing consultative selling to product managers, brand teams, marketing/PR, health economists, medical affairs and technology/innovation teams within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and payor/insurer industries; (OR minimum 5 or more years of data sales experience selling into the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and payor/insurer industries)

- Minimum 5 years experience working in a complex sales environment, where multiple people or organizations are involved in the purchasing decision

- Willingness to travel up to 40% (20% regionally and 20% nationally)

- Unrestricted work authorization in the US, without sponsorship

- Willingness to submit to and pass a drug test and educational, employment and criminal background checks Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Desired Characteristics - Minimum of 6 years of healthcare enterprise or corporate selling/business development experience in integrated solutions (IT, data, content/programming, education, marketing)

- MBA, MS

- Minimum of 6 years experience working in a complex sales environment, where multiple people or organizations are involved in the purchasing decision

- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, closing and growing a sales territory.

- Proven track record of year over year sales success in driving growth and/or quota attainment.

- Proficiency in Strategic Selling principles and tools

- Knowledge of GE Healthcare software solutions and products.

-Demonstrated aptitude and success in fostering solid, value-based executive customer relationships

- Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment.

- Intellectual capacity to interpret trends and data, translating the information into actions and improvements

- Self starter and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously

- Robust interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with customers at all levels, able to synthesize complex issues and communicate simple messages

- Able to present in front of large groups, deal with ambiguity and demonstrate composure in stressful situations where competing priorities must be managed

- Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

- Client service and account management experience with pharma/biotech brand teams, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics and/or marketing analytics-Understanding of ACCME guidelines, HIPAA compliance, regulatory environment-Selling experience in broad "enterprise" offerings including, and relationship management with CXOs, brand teams, medical affairs officers, product team leaders and department heads.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare communications, compliance in ACCME, DDMAC, HIPAA, OIG required, and experience in Electronic Medical Records.
